Birthday Sickies

Yesterday was Wendi's Birthday and unfortunately it was spent laying on the living room floor watching cartoons. She has been sick since Sunday and doesn't seem to be getting any better anytime soon. We had great plans on taking her to dinner and Chuckie Cheese, but we had to post pone them. Even though she is sick, she is still the cutest little 2 year old I have ever seen.

It was the first year that we baked cookies for Santa and boy was he in for a sugar high. Wendi loved pouring the sugar and sprinkles all over the cookies. At some points you couldn't even see the cookie. Thank goodness Wendi never noticed "Santa's " bright green and blue tongue in the morning.

Decorating Xmas tree

Wendi helped Mommy decorate the Christmas tree as we listened to NSYNC Christmas CD. She got a little frustrated at first because the ornaments were not staying on the tree. Then she quickly realized that she can just lay them on the branches (leaving more work for mommy later.)

We went to Disneyland in the beginning of December with Gary's family. We all had an amazing time. Wendi loved all the characters and even went on tons of rides. There is something so magical to see your own kids experience Disneyland for the first time. Gary and I were so excited for Wendi and even turned into little kids ourselves. We can not wait to plan another trip soon.

Wednesday's 2nd Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated Wednesday's 2nd Birthday. All her friends came to play games and eat kiddie snacks. We played Pin the Eye on Muno and got lots of goodies from the Pinata. Dj Lance Rock even came to celebrate! Wendi had an amazing time and loved being with all her friends.
